Dear members of Pettipaug Junior Sailing Academy, On Saturday November 15, 2025, Pettipaug Junior Sailing Academy (PJSA) had its annual meeting. During this meeting, the approximately 60 attending members decided that the vote to elect the 2026 PJSA board of Officers and Governors had to be extended until December 15, 2025 latest. Hereby I call a special meeting of the members of Pettipaug Junior Sailing Academy, to be held: Friday, December 12, 2025, at 7pm, in the Auditorium of the Essex Town Hall at 29 West Ave, Essex CT. The sole purpose and only agenda point of this special meeting is the election of the 2026 PJSA Board of Officers and Governors. A representative of the nominating committee will inform the members about the process that was followed, present the slate, and make a motion for their election. It is the expectation that this special meeting will take approximately 30 minutes. As per the bylaws of PJSA, members can be present in person or by proxy. The member who cannot attend in person, can provide a written authorization to a specific person (the "proxy holder") to act and vote on their behalf. The proxy holder attends the meeting in person, and the absent individual is counted as "present by proxy". The written authorization shall be provided to the Secretary prior to the start of the special meeting.
