PETTIPAUG SAFE POWER BOATING COURSE Two-day hands-on (land and water) Power Boat Operator course -Saturday and Sunday. DATES: August 9/10 Sign up to learn and improve your powerboat skills! The course covers the requirements to learn and earn a Connecticut Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation. This course (CPWO) provides hands-on power boat training. It is one of the few hands-on courses available in Connecticut. On June 13th I received their text that they had tested "positive" for COVID. On June 14th late evening, I was ready to call the ambulance. This variant of COVID is called "Nimbus" and initially attacks your throat then proceeds with your ability to focus, speak and get out of bed. Other PYC members have shared their experiences with me and hopefully no others will be subjugated this summer. I have dealt with health issues these past few years, but never have been so ill than this, my first experience with COVID.UGH! Bad timing and most difficult because the BOG plans all winter long to offer Summer activities. I have tried and thank each of you who has understood, helped and been there for me. XOXO. Priscilla
