Dear Pettipaug members,

Happy spring! I really looked forward to writing this April version of the Commodore's Update. It means that we can announce that the docks were launched! It is always a great moment, which "Marks and Sparks" the start of the season. Thank you very much for the volunteers who helped with this important task. It is the time of the year that all the hard work during the winter months is coming together.

Please take some time to read this update and to inform yourself about the upcoming club activities.

Club yard open for member boats as of April 9

With the docks in the water, the yard becomes available for our boats again. As of next weekend, members are welcome to bring their boats. We kindly ask you to place your boats in the area that is designated for the regarding type of boat. Furthermore, each boat needs to have a boat sticker that can be requested via vicecommodore@pettipaug.org. Given the limited space available, the maximum allowed boat length at Pettipaug is 20ft.

Work party on April 9

Next week, on Saturday April 9 from 9am till noon, we will have our traditional spring work party. There will be plenty of jobs available. However, if you have some specific ideas, please send a direct message to pastcommodore@pettipaug.org. Make sure that you wear your working cloths and don't forget to bring some of your tools that can be used for the usual activities in the yard.
