Summer continues to roll along and August is almost here.�� I'd like to remind everyone of the exciting and fun ways we can participate in the CT River Leukemia Cup Regatta happening right here in Essex.�� These opportunities are open to the all, sailors and non-sailors alike, so spread the word to family and friends as well.�� Please take a moment to open this invitation and see what the fun is all about.
Ways to participate:
1. Grab a sailboat and crew and sign up to race.�� We have Ideals, MC Scows, RS Aeros, JY 15's and 420's to name a few already committed.�� Come join the race.
2.�� Buy a ticket to the post party race, it's open to the public and everyone is welcome.�� Come enjoy a great evening by the water with good food and company.
3.�� Make a donation to a participant. Each sailboat has the opportunity to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and you can help put your favorite boat in the lead.
4.�� Create a virtual boat.�� Don't sail but want to help raise funds?�� You can create a site for friends and family to donate and race your own virtual boat.
