HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Timing is perhaps one of the most essential elements to have a handle on

when making decisions that will affect many. Perhaps the Farmer’s Almanac,

if taken the time to consult, would have predicted a fall season with weather

beyond our expectations. We should all be doing rain-dances but we could all

still be sailing, boating or swimming. 80 degrees this afternoon!

Today is “All Hallow’s Eve” - tomorrow “All Hollow’s Day” ~ fast forward to

October 31^st  becoming Halloween  and tomorrow “ All Saint’s Day”. We don

our costumes and scary gear tonight but on Saturday, November 9^th, 2024 at

the Essex Corinthian Yacht Club at 5 p.m. we will recognize and celebrate

Pettipaug Yacht Club’s “All Saints”. PYC, fortunately has over 350 members.

The PYC 2024 Annual Meeting is an ideal venue and time to meet your fellow

members, listen to ideas for PYC’s 75^th Anniversary, share PYC/PJSA past

adventures , imbibe at the open-bar, take a seat for a short business meeting,

add your 2 cents, share a delicious dinner and support and cheer for your fellow

PYC members who will be honored for their outstanding contributions to the

2024 Pettipaug Yacht Club season.  We could be celebrating YOU!
