AUGUST 17: SUNDAY- Sail-Sip-Share-a-Dish and #2 NAUTICAL TRIVIA

          Sail: Whatever time morning or afternoon that suits your  schedule. This is casual

                      sailing, not a race. Put your boats (if you have sailed) away and:

          Sip:  5 p.m. BYOB and something to share

          NAUTICAL TRIVIA @ 6:30: Tom Atkinson is back to host the #2 Round of Nautical Trivia.

          Hope to see last time winners “Captain Crunch” and all other participants and NEW

          enthusiasts to join in! A great time and hopefully more members will join in the fun.

          Also: Always nice background music,(dancing?) and a birthday cake to celebrate!

SUMMEER IS WANING

     The Sun is setting earlier but there are still weeks of sailing at Pettipaug. The wind is crisper,

     the afternoons are open to be enjoyed by sailors, picnicking, R&R on the decks , boating ~

     all boats. Weekends, not as much boating traffic. COME sit by the river and enjoy!

COOKIE MONSTER: Blue Jay with trailer and all hardware and sails. We want

      to keep this boat in the Blue Jay Sereis. All proceeds from the sale of this boat

(donated by the Curtis family) will  be added to the Blue Jay treasury and raced in

  August 13, PYC welcomed Essex Meadow residents who all (40) brought picnic

boxes of lobster rolls and cheered on the  #5 Blue Jay Series race. Thank you

for your wonderful spirit and donation.
