STORM WARNINGS

ALL MEMBERS, especially those with boats at PYC.

We are keeping an eye on the weather. Sunday and early next week looks ominous so let’s line

up our ducks and have an action plan IF needed. Hopefully we won’t have to put in place.

• John Scholes will be monitoring the weather for Essex beginning tomorrow 10.9.2025
• The Storm PREPARATION CHECK LIST is posted on the web-site. I will also send it

as a PDF to all.

• Jeff Going: PYC REAR COMMODORE and Sandy Sanstrom will be sending me updates and

I will share with all members.

• Mischa van Berkyl: President of  PJSA- on alert.
• Bob Cashman: please contact Mark Kondraky regarding: Xavier boats and Frostbite whalers
• Information sent to Fleet Captains
• I will be reaching out to members to join us in helping to take down umbrellas, secure furniture and

any and all precautions IF needed .

When we have more information. We can be better prepared if we need  to have all boats on PYC  premise

secured or removed.
