PYC MEMBER�S SPRING WORK-PARTY

April 6, SATURDAY 8:30 ~ noon

All rakes, wheel barrows, clippers, weed-whackers, gloves, paint scrapers, wire brushes�NEEDED.  Lots to do.  Meet at the coffee bar on the deck, choose an assignment! THANK YOU

April 13, SATURDAY 9 ~ Painting Projects (if weather permits). North and South sides of Club House and other areas and items.

We�re keeping our eye on the weather and will be sending updates next week.  Apogee tides, heavy rains have been prevalent this winter. PYC Road  is often flooded.

APRIL 15, Monday: MEMBER�S BOATS to PYC (weather and high water permitting)

 

HELP WANTED: PAID POSITION

WANTED: PYC 2024 WEEKEND ATTENDANT

PYC will be interviewing for a 2024 weekend attendant. This would be a good position for someone retired, teacher, college student, etc. who has summers free. A CT Boating License and CPR certification are required. Hours, pay and duties will be discussed with applicants. Preferably a PYC non-member.

THE 2024 PETTIPAUG SAFE POWERBOATING COURSE

Two-day hands-on Power Boat Operator course (Saturday and Sunday):

#1 April 20 & 21

#2 May 11 & 12

#3 June 15 & 16

Sign up to learn and improve your powerboat skills! The course covers the requirements to earn a Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate and provides hands-on power boat training. It is one of the few hands-on courses available in Connecticut. Click here for full details.
