“AUGUST~ come she must”~
Who sang this?
The shift from July to August is not subtle...but a reminder how very short summer is in
New England so...come picnic by the river, bring a book, there are chairs on the north lawn,
rock on the main deck and 4 Adirondack chairs (all donated) on the “NEW” deck where
dogs are welcome. Coming soon~ Sally Emch and I will be creating “the library” which will have
a minimum of books to borrow or take, cards and games. Tuesday nights after 5 come watch
the SCOWS sail or Thursday nights the SUNFISH with their colorful sails are our for hours.

MUCH TO DO ABOUT EVERYTHING!
Members Chuck Poindexter and grandson CJ Rizza joined Sandy Sanstrom, VC Dave Wemett
and RC Jeff Going in moving and mowing ALL members boats in the south yard. Everyone with
a boat please thank these guys! What a feat to move these fleets. John Walsh and Scows tackled
the area in and around the Tiki Hut. I am a weeder and beside Francine Cornaglia...there are others
who are also watering the plants. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Our Attendant, Olivia, is returning on July 31, and will be on duty next weekend...remember
Saturday, the Junior Regatta will be underway.
