please yield to program participants & boats using the club, docks, and ramp area. Usually they are all clear by 5pm.

U S SAILING INSTRUCTOR COURSE
June 1 to June 3 Saturday-Monday
Pettipaug and U S Sailing are hosting a Level 1 Small Boat Instructor certification course at the club. Participants will be sailing 420s, using powerboats, and running classes in the Commodore’s Room and on the deck. There will be 10 instructor candidates
and the instructor, Liz Sistare. The club is available as normal for members during the class, though there might be more activity than usual. For any questions or concerns contact

PETTIPAUG SAFE POWERBOATING COURSE
June 15th and 16th (Saturday and Sunday)
Sign up to learn and improve your powerboat skills! The course covers the requirements to earn a Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate and provides hands-on power boat training. It is one of the few hands-on courses available in Connecticut. Upon completion,
in addition to learning a lot, participants will be eligible for a Connecticut Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation.

This is an 8 year tradition! Bue Jay Racing Series consisting of one long race per evening. Scoring is cumulative for 5 race dates. Worst score of 5 races thrown out to calculate series final scores. Dinner and awards after sailing.
$70.00 per boat, includes two sailors.
