[Image preview] Dear Pettipaug members, I am very excited to announce that the registration for the 2022 program of Pettipaug Sailing Academy (PSA) is open!! PSA classes are designed for junior sailors aged 8 to 18, regardless of previous sailing experience. Certified US Sailing Instructors trained in CPR and First Aid will stress basic sailing skills, seamanship, sportsmanship and the fun of sailing. More advanced students will learn the finer points of boat handling, racing tactics and may be offered the opportunity to participate in inter-club racing. The PSA program runs for two three-week sessions. The first session is from June 27 to July 15 and the second session is from July 18 to August 5. Classes are held Monday through Friday in two sessions: Morning, 8:30-12:00 and Afternoon, 1:00-4:30. Tuition for each session is $650 per student. There is a $100 discount per session for using your own boat. A limited number of scholarships is available to families in need.
