Today, Essex Savings Bank has launched their annual Community Investment Program<https://www.essexsavings.com/about/community-investment-program/>: February 1 to February 28, 2023. Each year, Essex Savings Bank donates up to 30% of its after tax net income to several worthy non-profit organizations in the Lower CT River Valley region. Many local organizations participate in this program, including our non-profit Junior Sailing Program, Pettipaug Sailing Academy (PSA). The amount received is directly proportional to the number of votes cast. Like all generous donations to PSA, these funds will be used for replacement of boat parts like sails and lines, renewal of the fleet and for PSA scholarships. This allows students in need to participate in the PSA program against reduced or no fee. How? Customers at Essex Savings Bank can vote for their favorite local non-profit organizations. Each customer receives three votes. Votes can be completed via a paper ballot, available at any of their six branches, or votes can be cast online by logging into your account.
