[cid:image002.jpg@01DAFD43.4C871BD0] Labor Day came about because workers felt they were spending too many hours and days on the job. In the 1830s, manufacturing workers were putting in 70-hour weeks on average. Sixty years later, in 1890, hours of work had dropped, although the average manufacturing worker still toiled in a factory 60 hours a week...and many of the Board and PYC members at PYC are still toiling away! THANK YOU for ALL that each of you do. Enjoy this Beautiful Day...hopefully at PYC. ~ Many thanks to all members who reserved the PYC facility for their 2024 gatherings...you were so easy to work with and left the facility better than you found it! We are so pleased that you chose PYC for your celebrations and enjoyment. SEPTEMBER 14th, SIGN-UP SOON!
