Dear Pettipaug members, Hereby, I would like to remind you all about the events scheduled for Saturday October 28. Please find more information below. Mischa van Berkel Commodore Robin Starr Memorial Race On Saturday October 28, we will be having the postponed Robin C. Starr handicap race. The weather forecasts are looking so much better than for last weekend. So, I am hoping to see many participating boats on the starting line. The NOR and the Sailing Instructions can be found on the Pettipaug website. The Skippers meeting will be at noon at the PYC Clubhouse and the first start will be at 1pm. Registration will be ahead of the skippers meeting on the deck of our clubhouse. Club Decommissioning Adjacent to the Robin Starr Memorial Race, on Saturday October 28 at 5pm, we will be decommissioning Pettipaug Yacht Club for the season. Furthermore, awards for both the Charles Birch and the Robin Starr Memorial races will be handed out. Please bring a dish to share and $5 cover charge for participation and beverages.
