Dear PYC Members, We have experienced a recent increase in unauthorized after hours use of the club. The club is open to members sunrise to sunset, and no one should be there after dark. Guests should always be accompanied by a member, and members are responsible for their guests' while at the club. We often see more teenagers at the club in these days before school, please remind them there must always be a member present when guests are at the club. Younger children should always be accompanied by a parent or guardian. To help us curb unauthorized use of our facilities, the Essex Police have been asked to increase their patrol of both Pettipaug and Essex Boat Club in the days and evenings. Make sure you include Pettipaug in your end of summer plans, it really is a beautiful spot this time of year.
