The Women’s Sailing Group and Pettipaug Yacht Club invite all PYC members to join us for “The Bill and Julie Dunbar Blue Jay Series.” There will be a Wednesday night monthly race series: May 23rd, June 20th, July 18th. Each race will be followed with awards and a cook-out. All PYC members are welcomed. Series will culminate with an August Regatta (date TBD) *FIRST RACE* DATE: Wednesday, May 23rd TIME: 5-5:30 to rig and be race- ready…boats in the water SKIPPER’S MEETING: Meeting: 5:45 RACE START: 6 p.m. sharp RSVP for entry: probinson02@snet.net ASAP so we may assign boats accordingly. Please specify if you will sail your own or request to borrow a BJ. *THE SCOOP* Ø 2 (skipper & crew) per boat Ø Please specify if you need a boat. We will try to accommodate. Ø All PYC boats will be equipped with all necessary elements for EZ rigging/sail- ready All PYC boats will be signed out on the day of the race and need to be returned with all components in- tact, cleaned and ready for the next race. Ø The course will be an up and back (windward-leeward). Course will be determined day of race. All dates chosen are at high-tide. There is only one hoist so please plan on having your boats ready to be launched by 5:30. Thank you!
