As you may know PYC's rowing contingent will be running The Loop Rowing Regatta again 2 weeks from today on November 4th. Our PYC members are asked to provide the on water safety team. We need 7-8 power boats with crews of 2. Our safety job starts about 7:00 am as the shells start being launched, with some of our crew monitoring around the launch area, some going up river to get on station and checking the course for debris or anchored or fishing boats in the way. The rowing group could also use more help at the club and on the dock as well. The race starts at 8:00 am. The last rower is back within 1.5 hours, then there is a party and the awards. All of it ends by around 10:00 am, and there are always great pies for all afterwards.
