The road, worn by the tough winter and abundance of sight-seers amazed by the ice jams on the river, has been repaired by John Rannestad. Please remember to slow down and enjoy the ride -- while the new road seems smooth enough to speed along, please remember driving quickly not only wears the road, but is dangerous to pedestrians and bikers who are also on the road. Our sailing academy will be in session soon and we will be sharing the road with many young sailors. Please drive carefully.Our bathrooms continue to get a face lift thanks to Sandy Sanstrom. The new picnic tables were donated to the club by the Womens’ Sailing Group. And the boat yard is ready for summer thanks to our Sailing Academy instructors and junior instructors lending a hand last Sunday morning. And thanks to the gardener who planted flowers on our deck- they are beautiful.
