Summer continues to roll along and August is almost here. I'd like to remind everyone of the exciting and fun ways we can participate in the CT River Leukemia Cup Regatta happening right here in Essex. These opportunities are open to the all, sailors and non-sailors alike, so spread the word to family and friends as well. Grab a sailboat and crew and sign up to race. We have Ideals, MC Scows, RS Aeros, JY 15's and 420's to name a few already committed. Come join the race. 2. Buy a ticket to the post party race, it's open to the public and everyone is welcome. Come enjoy a great evening by the water with good food and company. 3. Make a donation to a participant. Each sailboat has the opportunity to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and you can help put your favorite boat in the lead. 4. Create a virtual boat. Don't sail but want to help raise funds? You can create a site for friends and family to donate and race your own virtual boat. You may join any of these events by following the link above.
